About Us - The MedalEdge Story
In the news
My wife and I first became good friends when we both started training for our first marathon together. A few years and races later we had a bunch of medals lying around that we were both proud of, but still hadn’t found a way to display them.
From one marathon expo to the next, the only option that was being presented to runners for hanging their medals was an expensive frame. Yes, they are nice, but they cost between $75 and $200 bucks each. I thought to myseIf, if running remains part of my life as I hope it will, than I am going to quickly run out of wall space and money.
I kept looking for an affordable option to display my medals. I’d seen other people hang them on the wall with a nail, or throw them around a bed post, doorknob, or coat hook, but there had to be something better. None of those options gives your accomplishment the respect it deserves. My dissatisfaction with the available options got me thinking that there had to be a better way, and I set about making it happen.
The product I knew that I wanted, had to be visually pleasing, functionally superior, easy to buy and use, as well as affordable. I also wanted it to be made in the U.S.A. After years of Research and Design we feel that MedalEdge has achieved what we strived for. We hope you agree and that you enjoy your MedalEdge as much as we do.
